Second Jobs for Men

I'm a man in my 30s looking for a second income following my divorce.
I work full time Tuesday to Friday, have my daughters on a Saturday, so have Mondays during school hours and evenings free to me ... my Sundays are a bit precious.
Any ideas, suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.

How do jobs for men differ from jobs for women ? Is this some kind of a code for particular jobs ?

I work for a company that offers the kind of hours you are looking for however they don't just employ men for any of their roles.

Out of town /superstores/shopping centres that are open late often employ staff specifically to work evenings and weekends as well as supermarkets who offer restocking roles for late evening but again these aren't gender specific so may not be suitable for you.

  • Oh thought of another job, factory worker.

One thing I would do is check is your current job contract sometimes they put in a cause about no other type of employment or limited hours or type of work for second job.

@ duchy, you can't specific ask for in a job ad man or women due to eu employment laws however certain jobs suit men better then women and some jobs suit women better than men. I remember years ago a man putting an ad in a shop window asking for 5 women and 3 men to do factory work. I asked why not just say looking for 8 people to do factory work. He said women were better on the line as they could multi task better and had smaller nimble hands/fingers to see and take faulty cosmetics off the line, repeal doggy labeling and relabel, However he found men could do the moving of completed boxed up cosmetics.

You could buy a franchise in an MLM business. They allow you to work your own hours, but you most likely would have to invest a little first to get the franchise. I know I did when I took out mine last year.
