Got some red/ pink stains on the white tile part of my new black and white check lino. No idea what they are or where from..appeared overnight! Unimpressed, to say the least. Tried everything..fairy liquid, barkeepers friend, Vim, mould and mildew remover, magic sponge. Nothing is even lessening it, let alone removing it. Anything else I can try? X

I had success with some stains on vinyl flooring using a pencil rubber.0

My default things to try are: anti bacterial spray + kitchen paper; regular baby wipes. Both small areas, fingertip rubbing.0

I don't know what they are from, but the pink ones are bright pink, so I assume dye transfer of some sort. Will try bleach again, and the pencil rubber, baby wipe etc..think it's pretty well not shifting though, gutted.M.A.C.A.W member number 39

Bought some magic eraser type sponges on Amazon yesterday, the reviews did rave about them budging stains that had been tough to shift - might be worth a try.0

Have a go with WD40. I found that was the only thing to get marker pen off an emulsion wall without damaging it.0
