Bank Accounts - Nine UK Banks Launch Fee-Free Accounts

Will be interesting to see these banks views on offering undischarged bankrupts an account

    I've had a cashminder account since just before my Bankruptcy in 2009 and I've never had an issue with the Co op. I did at one points ask them to upgrade the account to a standard account but they did say while you have a discharged bankruptcy they will not consider this. I guess that's fair enough. TBH I don't want an overdraft so the cashminder account does me just fine!
  • Also, it will be interesting to see how keen banks will be to offer a basic account if they were included as creditors in your BR......
