Pan Set

Daughter has a shiney voucher burning a hole in her pocket from Christmas and wishes to use on a decent quality set of pans.
Which? doesn't appear to be much help and our Prestige set from over 25 years ago (still going strong) does not appear to be on the market anymore.
She has an electric induction hob (I think) but would be good to get a set that can be used on electric and gas. Sales are on so would like to take advantage and we can provide cash in place of voucher if need be.
Thoughts appreciated and want to try and get as much as possible, decent quality for circa £100.

See what deals are about on Stellar sets. Our are almost 20 years old and good as new.0

Agree with Stellar, ours take everything we throw at them!
5 piece set £120-£130.

We got ours, plus a stockpot, which is also great, for about £100 in the sale many years ago.0 -
Another vote for Stellar. I have the Stellar 5000 Induction Cookware pans:

They're two years old but look like brand new.;)10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Give blood, save a life. 0 -
I love the Circulon pans. I've had mine for well over 20 years and as each of my children has set up home for themselves, I've bought them some of the same.
They aren't cheap. but then, you get what you pay for
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
I've had my Stellar set for nearly 30 years. All stainless steel so have survived the dishwasher and look virtually like new. They cost me more than a week's wages then but have been worth every penny. I didn't dare tell my mother what they cost, she would have had heart failure!0

Thanks for the recommendations all. Will have a look0

Link is to a Meyer set - are Stellar and Meyer the same?0 -

Stellar and Judge are different grades from the same company and I bought a set of the latter, from Amazon, using vouchers earned from surveys.
The pans had to be magnetic, as they are for use on an induction hob;my present ones being triple based non-magnetic for a halogen hob.0
