Heaven knows what the point of it is. It may be my imagination, but the passages seem to be getting filthier and filthier!

Some are from quite well known* novels (The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett has featured, as have Narnia books and the Belgariad). Others seem to be incredibly badly written! I presume it's some sort of research project to determine the extent to which readers can guess the words in the style of the preceeding paragraph, but that's just a guess really.
