I don't usually go into the Compers Inn, but I was curious about what had been moved, so I just went and had look. It reminds me more of an art gallery than a pub, or at least one of those pubs that hang pictures on the wall for you to buy! I think I should stay clear of it, as I don't have enough time to enter all the competitions I would like to, never mind spending hours looking at all the pictures.

P.S. I'm glad it wasn't me that offended you. I looked at this post in case it was.

This whole sub-forum is effectively "chat" so what reason could there be to move a post to that thread? (again the only reason I looked there was to see what had been moved, it's not a thread I normally look at either).

Sit back and chat about comps, post hints & tips, ask questions and relax after a hard session comping...

agree mjm, I was also quite bewildered & couldn't understand
why when my thread/post that was posted in here was moved into the inn.

Since becoming a bit of an Armster in recent months, it's definitely eaten into my comping time :eek: :rotfl:

Still, it does make a nice change when comping gets a bit monotonous :beer:

There is nothing wrong with the Inn, if this sub-section was a pub that thread would be the "snug" and the rest of it the public bar - so if you want something to be seen by more people you would put up a notice in the public bar and not the "snug".

Agreed - how bizarre that any 'chat' thread in CCC would need to be moved to the Compers Inn :huh: :doh::wall:

I can see WHY a 'happy christmas' thread might be moved, but SHOULD it be moved is more the question :cool:
