The potential pay rise is good news. How else can you earn more cash? Could you use your skills to earn money with home projects? Either taking on projects for someone else, or your own ideas. Devising apps or something? We don't know your living situation, but could you rent a room out? Well done for admitting you have a gambling addiction, that must have taken some courage.
You don't mention whether or not you are living alone, I assume you are, in which case, you have to pay for your living expenses somehow.
A full breakdown of your total outgoings may be necessary in order to give you some guidance.
You will need help for your addiction, maybe get advice form your GP and seek help from a debt counselling service if possible.
