Mmmm. Just the job iquit
Quiet, yes, but lot of factors to that I think. Not least numbers of BRs being waaaay down.
I'm glad to hear BR numbers are down, it isn't a fate you'd wish on anyone.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)

How's the job going Iquit? We are off to pastures new in late August. We are also off for 7 weeks in Sri Lanka so I'm very excited.
The job is going well. Sri Lanka for 7 weeks sounds fantastic, have a wonderful time. My friend was there last year and absolutely loved it. She keeps encouraging me to go, maybe next year. I've had my big holiday already this year - went to Japan. Not forgetting my short breaks. All the best with pastures new.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)

is anyone around at the inn?? As I'm now petitioning for Bankruptcy it would be great to meet other in my situation and support each other through the process. :-)Just a single mum, working full time, bit of a nutcase, but mostly sensible, wanting to be Mortgage free by 2035 or less!0

Hi kimplus8, welcome. The BR inn is a lot quieter than it used to be. However the forum itself is still active and there are many very helpful and supportive members. I went BR 7 years ago and was discharged 6 years ago. All the best with your BR. For most of us going br is a difficult decision to make, but if you've thought it through and got independent advice from the citizens advice bureau or national debtline then it is usually for the best.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)

Hiya kimplus!
iquit excellently explained about it being a little quiet, people are slowly coming back but usually once the big bankrpuptcy day arrives people tend to go quiet then till discharge..then they move their lives on & dont need to hang around our boozer here!!!
some stick around and help or support anyway they can (I went bankrupt in 2006 stayed here to help then after a little while did cab training and now enjoying work as a debt advisor) in the past here I was known as philnicandamy i've page after page of my talking rubbish!! lol
1st drinks on me so take your pick...I always start from the left and work acrossNot quite a newbie as you think;) (the member formally known as philnicandamy!)
FINALLY a qualified CAB debt caseworker 2015..:p
