Parcel delivered for old vendors?

Hi!

I had a parcel delivered today to my address but with a different name, it wasn't signed for, he have it to me then walked off!

After locating the paperwork on the side of the box, I discovered it has my address on it but it is addressed to the old vendors, it's an m&s box with a bottle of wine and some chocolates in it with a note saying 'merry Christmas Vic and Jean from Anne' with no return address.

Anyone know what I can do? Don't know their forwarding address!

I'd call M&S and see if they can send someone to collect it and arrange to get in touch with the the person who purchased the gift.

M&S should have the billing address on file may not be able to give it you for confidentiality but will be able to help

You could contact your estate agent. They will probably have their mobile number on file and may contact them for you.

This happened to me once before, just phone M&S and they'll deal with it somehow - with me they said to keep it as thanks for letting them know of the mistake and that they'd send out a new one to the correct address once they'd contacted whoever had originally ordered it.

Next sent some flowers to my house by mistake (same house number but different street) so I phoned to tell them. I told them I would deliver them and did.
Next day a massive bunch of flowers from were delivered to my house with a little note thanking me for my honesty.

Chances are they'll tell you to keep them.
