Is it too late to join?

I bought an unbudgeted upper-mid-range laptop this week. I needed a basic one, and allowed £300, but spent a few times that amount to get a viable gaming machine. I justified the decision to myself with the intention of paying for it (plus lost interest @ 5% AER, plus a modest profit) entirely through using it. This challenge is the logical extension of that.

To make things that little bit more difficult, it's my intention that a maximum of 50% of my total can come from overtime or eBay. Partly because last year I made roughly the total on overtime. Mainly because that way the challenge very closely ties into my personal goal, which is to make over £1000 through new behaviour in time I would have spent procrastinating anyway.

At this moment I have 400 Swagbucks, 2000 YouGov points and 10 points through Nectar connect - only the YouGov points are old. I will only count the first £84 of overtime/eBay per month, and have reached that amount on overtime in January.

Have been totting up what I believe I can reasonably count for the year:

£47.24 cashback from Topcashback for the laptop purchase.
50 Nectar points for fuel (25p)
10 Nectar points previously declared for Nectar Connect (5p)
58p roadkill whilst cleaning inside my car
64 Nectar points for shopping (32p)

    Running total: £132.44

I'm upto £12.68 and shocked at that given it's just been a little effort for a fews days. Will keep on. :)

    Hi all,

I would love to join :o although I'm making £700 my goal as I know I won't make it to £2016!

So far I have made £34.86 from:
    £17.11 interest on savings
    £7.75 Top Cashback
£10 Luckyphone loyalty point win :D

Have a hopefully big-ish bank account interest payment coming in February when my First Direct Regular Saver account ends. I have also sold some items on eBay and collected coins in the street but I will add these up at the end of the year.

Don't put yourself down MissRarr, £32 is a good amount and there's still another 11 months (or 341 days) left to go.
