No 100 can you add a £480 overpayment for both June & July please, many thanks0

Having been making overpayments under £500 for the last few months usually £480, is it better to pay £500 so they re calculate the monthly mortgage payment. My monthly mortgage payment would drop from just over £300 to £240 or is it better to pay under the £500 as an overpayment so the monthly mortgage payment is higher, hope this makes sense!0

Ooops you've posted in the wrong thread, however,
First find out if they would re-calculate your monthly payments, they might not.If you want to finish paying your mortgage early, then I would keep the monthly payment the same and o/p within the limits allowed.
If you would rather pay less monthly, then reduce your monthly payments, and keep the same term time.Always have 00.00 at the end of your mortgage and one day it will all be 0's :dance:MF[STRIKE] March 2030[/STRIKE] Yes that does say 2030  Mortgage Free 21.12.18 _party_Now a Part Timer from 27.10.190 -

Thanks a frayed knot - oops didnt think before I posted that it should be somewhere else sorry. Great thanks for the reply the mortgage payment is re calculated at anything over £500 so will keep it under the £500 although changing the mortgage payment would make my overpayments seem larger!0
