You have to laugh though, the e-mail is along the lines of " priority access to sale items for Sparks holders". Me and how many thousands of others? quite a few if the recent queue at a M & S Sparks promotion was anything to go by.

It must only be those that have reached the 5000 points that get the reduction early. I tried (even completed my order) but was charged full price.

Were you looking at the items in the sale, with the e-mail there was a specific link to the sale items. I did not click on this at first and was taken to the normal web page covering all items.


Then I followed the sale link, although prices were still at the normal rate, my selection was reduced at the check out, as I said earlier.

Prices have not been reduced for me and I have reached 5000 points on my sparks card.

I know, I thought the same when I saw that! I can't think of many who would want to go to a vineyard- even if they have the time spare! Maybe they're just hoping that most wont be able to get to that level or that they've gone and bought up 10000 vineyards to do tours in. I'd far rather they just swung me a few more coupons (but with better offers this time) if I ever got to that level of points!
