I think this is a great example of the efficiency gains from the coming Zombie Robot Apocalypse. Santa requires 8 normal flying reindeer whereas Zombie Robot Santa only requires 3 automatons.

I think that supports my argument pretty well although it does show that the incremental gains from the zombie robot apocalypse will eventually slow.

By moving from animal to machine based power, Santa saw a 62.5% gain. By moving to an entirely automaton system he only gains a further 12.5% from the initial state.

Having said that it's worth noting that there appears to be a qualitative gain too: Santa is not only delivering presents to all the children of the world that have rich parents, he is also delivering death on an industrial scale apparently.

While strict measures of productivity are important, we mustn't forget hedonic improvements too.

It's a disaster for carrot growers. I hope they're able to retrain in the robot servicing industry.
