For six months now i've had some real nasty calls from MBNA ( my biggest creditor), nasty letters, threats etc. so much so that i stopped answering calls from them 4 months ago.
Well, they just rang and i decided it was time to face up to them.
This really nice guy asked me how things were going as the last contact i had with them i told them i would be applying for BR. He asked some questions about the Or, court date etc, then asked how i was coping with the whole thing and did i feel relieved now? he was really sympathetic and so nice he reduced me to tears (can't cope with niceness at the moment) and at the end he wished me all the best for the future and hoped things worked out for me:eek:
Starting to think he's up to something, or am i being over suspicious.
I take back (almost) everything bad i said about MBNA:rolleyes:

The first time we said hello, was the first time we said goodbye. As the angels took your tiny hand and flew you to the sky-you forever left us breathless. RIP my beautiful granddaughter

Beware of the 'Silk Tongued Creditor' BLTN. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I don't want to put a damper on your good mood, and I seriously hope his good wishes were genuine.
Just keep an eye on your post for the next few days. :beer:I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.

Exactly that BLTN - although they might be thinly disguised as 'Consolidation Help to avoid Bankruptcy'.

bltn,
We owed MBNA a lot of money; cards and a loan and prior to our bankruptcy one of their advisors suggested I contact CCCS and that I might find that bankruptcy was the best way out for us.

I didn't take his advice though, Mr bloody "Pig Headed". There was me thinking there was a way out and that I just wasn't trying hard enough. God knows how much longer we'd have gone through that purgatory if another creditor hadn't done it for us.:D
Such lovely people; what a weight they took off our shoulders and it didn't cost us a penny.:rotfl: :rotfl: Oh such joy when I think about it.0
