Off 7 days with Flu/Sick Pay

Hello,
My contract does state first 6 months not entitled to any sickpay for days off, I have been off 7 days (although was in half a day today and half a day last monday) but it is still counted as a sick day as not full day. All of which are unpaid.
If am not entitled to company sickpay can I claim some form of gov sick pay for the days I have been away? I do have a doctors note for respiratory infection during this time.

Your employer should pay you Statutory Sick Pay. The rate is £88.45 per week and you are not paid for the first three days.0

Entitlement to SSP isn't automatic. There are qualifying conditions based around income. Check on the GOV.UK website.0
