Does anyone have a recipe please?? My OH really enjoys one from the local chippy but I'm sure there must be a better way of making them yourself that possibly cheaper and healthier too (they're always swimming in grease, yuck).
I did a search before posting this but couldn't find anything so if I've missed a post can someone point me in the right direction please!

In Arabic countries it is called 'Shawarma'. There are plenty of recipes if you Google.0

I make my own Shwarma at home......
Cut thin slices of chicken or lamb, wash and drain well. Then add to this, ginger/garlic paste, green chillies paste, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and a little dash of lemon.
Cook in a wok until done
Serve this in pitta/nan bread with salad and sauce and homous
