Pay shortfall paid as overtime in following months pay packet

I was underpaid last month. The company realised their error and paid it in the next months pay but didn't itemise it in the payslip - they amalgamated it with overtime pay
I've asked if they can itemise it in the future but they said no
Could i insist because I'm finding it difficult to work out if I've been paid correctly

I doubt it. Legally all that is required of a payslip is:
"Payslips must show earnings before and after any deductions, explain any deductions and show how the wage is paid."

Thanks for the reply
I can now see what they are doing is ok from a legal point of view, but why do it that way?0 -
We have the same. Just work out how many hours you earnt this month then take it off what's left. Find the difference of what was missing last month and see if what's added on this month tallies with what was missing last month. I always write it down in a diary so I know what I've worked then go on listentotaxman so I know what I should get paid.
if your not hourly paid you could find what you are normally paid and then divide the extra with what you get paid hourly to work it out.:T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one
