Employment laws

Hi guys,

Two question,

If you are leaving a review about a business on glassdoor or websites alike as anonymous, can they legally ask for the identity of the person who posted the review.

Second question is, when you sign a contact if it has a clause saying you cannot work for any competiter for 3 month, what happens if you do?

If they take you to court would they have any case?

You have not caused a financial loss but rather change employer as didn't like them

    Hi guys,

If you are leaving a review about a business on glassdoor or websites alike as anonymous, can they legally ask for the identity of the person who posted the review. Depends on the T&Cs of the particular website.

Second question is, when you sign a contact if it has a clause saying you cannot work for any competiter for 3 month, what happens if you do? They can take you to court for breach of contract.

If they take you to court would they have any case?Yes. You signed a legal contract and have broken it.

You have not caused a financial loss but rather change employer as didn't like them You cannot possibly know what you have or have not caused unless it is brought to light an investigated by all parties.

Please see above in red. Don't breach the contract and you won't be sued for it.
  • Reading between the lines, you want to write a scathing review and jump ship before 3 months expires?

    Im just guessing.

Just keep in mind, you'll probably need them for a reference.
