Don't no who I owe money to

hi,
I got myself into a lot of debt and about 6 years ago I just stopped paying them moved away and changed my name, by this point most of it was already with debt management companies.
Now I am back in a position to pay what I owe or at least start to, but I don't no who I owe money to anymore and when I try to do an Experian Credit Check (or others) they seam to have no file on me.
I am able to pass the credit check for a Mobile phone and for my tenancy agreement so I don't really know whats going on.
It has crossed my mind to just leave it, but I am worried it will come back to bite me in the !!!!.

If you've not paid or acknowledged the debts for a period of six years, then the debts will be statute barred anyway, so you have no real need to worry about them.
And after six years, they will all have dropped off your credit file.
If any do rear their ugly head, then send them a standard statute barred letter."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Thank you for your quick reply.
That is reassuring, I had been worried about a knock at the door and losing everything since I got back on my feet.0
