Hi everyone
Got my settlement offer on one of my Dca its says this is a full and final settlement but will be marked partially satisfied with a remaining balance but a balance will be left on my credit file but i will not be chased for the remaining balance
I always thought it had to say 0 balance but it is all there documentated
Your thoughts?

That's correct, it would only show a zero balance if you settled the debt in full.
The important thing for you is that the balance will not be chased, and you have that in writing.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Funny you'd think they would just put a 0 balance if they have put in writing the remainder of the debt will not be chased0

The arrangement is the balance won't be chased.
That does not mean the balance does not exist, it still exists, it's just that the agreement your making with them means they won't chase it, and your credit file will record the fact a partial settlement was made.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
