Money Moral Dilemma: Should I use my 'lost' loyalty card?

This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks...
Unfortunately I lost my loyalty card for a coffee shop chain, with nine out of ten stamps on it, before I could claim my reward cuppa. But the person at the till (who recognised me from my frequent visits) gave me a new one and filled it with fresh stamps. A couple of days later I found the old card in a pair of my jeans - should I use both and nab two 'free' coffees?

I'd say give the old filled one to someone who needs it more than you, e.g. a homeless person.0

If it was that well-known chain that has hardly paid any UK tax then yes, I would.0

Meh. Not even close to being a big enough deal to lose sleep over. I'd have two coffees, or treat a friend to one.0

do people really ask these sort of dumb questions? Or are they just made up for sensationalist so called 'journalism'?0

of course they are genuine this is a serious problem that demands action
i wouldnt be able to sleep at night if i had lost my chance for a free coffee and then by the miracle of kindness was given the chance to savour the flavour of that oh so good coffee :rotfl:"If I know I'm going crazy, I must not be insane"0 -
The moral answer: No
My answer: Yes0 -
Why is this a dilemma? Don't you have the moral fibre to make your own decision (ie to act honestly and honourably rather than being deceitful and grasping)?0

Obviously not.0

Sounds like a Nero coffee shop. I have had coffees from Nero this year, I never get my card stamped because I keep forgetting to ask or I just am not used to getting a card stamped. I'd bet I've had at least 10 coffees this year at Nero without collecting a single stamp.
OP, take your free coffee, have it for the imaginary card I should have for all my lost stamps, it would make me feel it's not gone to waste.0 -
And the card wasn't even losttravelover0
