Mistery missed parcel

Just back from a holiday and DPD left two cards saying about two attempts of a parcel delivery. When entered a reference number on DPD website trying to arrange redelivery, it came up with that the parcel has been returned to the sender as been uncollected during the 7 days! It also showed that parcel first been attempted to be delivered on the 6 December. Contacted DPD who could not help me with the info who the sender was. Have any of you had any packages delivered around same days and were also delivered by DPD? Just trying to identify where the package could be from?

Every time I've had a DPD delivery they've either sent emails or texts to say when they'll be delivering, I had one 2 days ago and the email had the sender on it.TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -

I've had lots from DPD and they do only try twice but to be fair to them they do always leave a card to say they've been and will try to deliver the following day. If not in the following day either and don't respond to the card in time they do send back to sender. Unsure why they won't help with who sender is though as they will have that information on their database i would imagine.August-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Maybe data protection issues or instructions from the sender who is the one paying for their services not the recipient.0 -

Yeah that makes sense. DPD is the one company i usually find very reliable and i guess if they've left two cards and had no response there's not a lot else they can do. Not sure what they OP can do now but hope the sender has email or phone details and contacts themAugust-September 2017: Lots of stuff

Success. Got a text message from DPD asking me to collect it from a local pick up point. it was actually a testing product from a survey company.0
