Hi
does anyone know if you can try to claim back council tax for a property that you used to own. I moved a year ago from a house i lived in for 9 years and have just found out that other similar properties in that road were a band lower than mine.

No you have to ask the current taxpayer if they would make a request for a lower band.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
