Forgotten dfw accounts.......

Tonight i logged onto quidco for the first time in 8 months - i had given up on it after a bad experience - so I was shocked and delighted to find that i had £72 sitting in my account:j :j as the said item had finally validated after over 7months:eek:

It just got me wondering though how many other dfw's may have little bits of cash/vouchers/points in accounts that they are no longer using regularly. When i was a dfw newbie i signed up for loads of sites but eventually just ended up with pigsback regularly - need to check my other sites now and see what other bits and pieces may be lurking:rotfl:

Bumping this, sophiesmum, cos its really true - in that first flush, we do all sorts, and it tails off, but £72 is reallyreally not to be sneezed at. Are you getting your hands on it soon? lol

lol nice one! I had a bank account which I'd forgetten about from when I lived with my parents. I thought I'd closed the account but my dad who'd I'd not spoken to for a good 2 yrs posted a statement through my door and it turned out it had been open all that time...
Shame it only has £3 in it though... :rotfl:

I've got a spreadsheet of all the sites I've signed up with and used to keep track of how much I was 'earning' off each one, cashback and survey sites. Must find it and have a look - I'm sure there are ones I haven't done anything with for a while.

    Thanks for the reminder :T

I found my bank account which had the last transaction in 1988 when I was 13!

I sent it off with its £2 balance in and got just over £5 back:j

I was stupidly excited about it:rotfl:

Ask your Nan if she could come round here and have a look through my accounts, please - maybe I've missed something. :rotfl: :rotfl:
