The answer to both of those questions is on the Gtech website.
and:How long does the battery last?
We’ve designed the battery to go through around 1,000 cycles before you notice any difference in run-time. Spare batteries can be ordered from our website.0 -
It hasn't got very good reviews has it ?
I want an ebike and have looked around them all, the Kalkhoff at 50 cycles seem to be the ones you can't beat, although they're not cheap. The one i like is £2k and i've been waiting to see does it come on offer.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I wouldn't touch a Gtech product with a barge pole. As an engineer whos struggled through workplace politics, at one time I had much respect for the company as I could identify with the owners struggle against the classic "we've always done it this way" mentality when he worked for VAX.
But having applied to work for the company (and without going into great detail), I found that if you don't have a worthless degree in some random subject, then no matter your experience level, your not viewed with much respect.
Which means that in time it'll be yet another UK business that turns to sh*te because it's run by straight out of uni management who see innovators as a threat to their existence.
This ebike is evidence of that, it's nothing new, it's just someone elses product redesigned. You have to wonder if Nick Grey even has a clue what's going on in his own company.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

No mention of actually Amp hour rating. Also no gears so when you battery dies your stuck with a single speed bike.
Sometimes figures are used to disguise rubbish products so when there is no figures at all I tend to think they muSt be really bad.0 -

That's similar to the one i want from 50cycles.
I've been trying to decide is it worth it, how much i'd use it
I've looked for a second hand one but found nothing.
Just look at the difference in price. Can it really be worth the difference ???

It's still worth highlighting the site though as it's a good resource for e-bikes.
In terms of whether the £2000 bike is worth double the other I think that's a difficult question to answer as a lot of it is going to come down to personal preference. The expensive bike has lots of great components, the hub gearing system is a lot more expensive than a cheap derailleur system (which will work fine) but tend to be extremely reliable and durable long term. Similarly choices like the tyres, brakes etc. are chosen for their quality whereas on the bike half the price the components look to be chosen for their low price.
I got back into cycling a few years ago as I wanted to avoid using the car for short journeys (a turbo diesel with DPF so short journeys were bad for it) so I spent a decent chunk of money on a bike I'd want to ride and would be very reliable. I'd had plenty of cheap bikes when I was younger and never enjoyed riding them, they were heavy, the wheels easily buckled, the brakes and gears always seemed to need adjusting which was frustrating. The new bike I bought had hub gears, carbon belt drive, not too heavy (not super light either), decent wheels/tyres (not once had a puncture) and disc/drum brakes.
I did use the bike every day as planned and liked it so much I wanted to cycle more and more, I rarely use the car for anything despite it being fine for short journeys. I've had quite a few friends that have picked up a cheap bike as they want to commute to work and end up doing it a couple of days then stopping and when I try their bikes I'm not surprised as they're just unpleasant to ride. I guess you could partially blame that on poor choice of bike rather than just a cheap one.
On the other hand someone could easily just as much justify a cheap bike, they're in no way wrong either.
