I buy 5ltr bottles of white vinegar from a chinese supermarket for about £3.50, along with 3 kilo tubs of bicarb of soda for about the same price. 😉
  • Boil the kettle and tip it down the sink = price of boiling the kettle

  • Hi,

my Lidl only seems to have the malt vinegar, never get 'white', same with Aldi, though might do the same job.

    Yes you are right.

Once cleaned out a stinking u-bend at a place of work in a kitchen area. It had melted chocolate, coffee grounds and wooden sticks jammed down it in a congealed mass, I prefer putting half a bottle of One Shot down it.:D :D.

Can you use OneShot in sink? Will it damage the (plastic) pipe and metal/chrome bowl in any way?
