Concerned about the next step

Hi
I need some advice on the next step.
Firstly can I ask about how things are best done on this forum, I have a thread going with ref to a debt held with moorcroft.
I need some more advice on the next step on that thread and have posted a reply on it.
As the reply is ten down on that thread nobody it going to see it, unless I bump it to the top of the list, then everyone has to read ten posts to get to my question.
On other forums it is frowned upon to keep starting new threads, and anyway the history is quite often important to the next stage.
How is it normally done on this forum, what do you suggest.
