Massive thanks to op for a pizza the action. Got three. In desperation discovered the veg is in three smaller bags inside the large one, much easier to cram into the freezer. Must go and cram pizza into gob now.

My freezer is so tidy at the moment, I don't want to mess it up and we are all eating carefully in January so don't need pizza or ice-cream and DS2 going back to uni next week. Trying to resist temptation....but a T deal is rare.

Lots of the sides (eg mushrooms, onion rings) are T own brand, so not eligible for the BG. Also, I don't think the peas are on offer in M.
The gain is being made against the special offers on brands in M, which are Carte D'or ice cream and the Birds Eye Classic garden veg mix.
The mains either don't compare, or are a very similar price in both stores, so don't affect the BG one way or another, apart from the chicken which is more expensive at M, so you lose out a bit on the glitch :)

Edit: at least, that is my understanding of it, I am not an expert by any stretch of the imagination :)

I'm back - I'm just trying to catch up with what's been going on with you lot in the last few hours. The T meal deal, with comparison vs M, is a very good deal indeed (as you all know) - it is far better than I even imagined - so do take full advantage of it where you can! Many thanks to whoever found this for us.

The peas are the Steamfresh bag of peas. They are not stocked by M. M does have Birds Eye Fresh Field Peas 400g and they are at £1.47 in M (£1 in S) but they are clearly a different product. I think the Steamfresh bag of peas, in T's offer, are a no-go in the sense that, although they won't lose anything (although you'll give up 21p vs A - A £1.79, T individual price £2), they won't give the 89p that the Garden Mix bag, which is a bigger bag (540g) and does include some peas, gives vs M. As part of T's offer, the Garden Mix - and indeed all items bought within the offer - are notionally £1.25 each (4 items for £5) - and then 89p off on the Garden Mix making them 36p:j:j. It's an excellent offer, in conjunction with TBG vs M (not Northern Ireland:(). You can get the Steamfresh Peas but, in effect, they will be straight £1.25 price - hardly worth it IMO for 400g of peas. They could have been £1.01 (vs A), but that would require good prices at A and I think there aren't any. NI may be able to get a meal deal and pay less than £5 for it (by comparing against A or S), but nowhere near as good as the rest of us are getting vs M. It's simply that the items in the T offer happen to match up with items that M has kindly put on offer on Monday for us:T.

All of the Carte d'Or Ice Creams compare Tvs M I understand - as they should, as M does stock all of them. M also stocks the Cheese Melt Pizza and it ought to be deducting 7p per purchase but TBG has it as N/A so it isn't:(. The Pepperoni pizza does deduct that small amount though.

In other news, of course I have details of these and other items from M - there's not much change in M compared to Monday - a few changes and, as usual, lots of new items collected that will take me ages to post:( - I'll turn the 'buy in M' to all non-bold text and then add on anything new in bold. As regards APG, I think if anything expired on Monday, I am still keeping it crossed out (as APG, we're told, is not updated until some time tomorrow), anything kept the same as Monday remains in bold to await the update and, anything that was new on Monday but has now expired, I am completely removing from the list (I think that's how it works?). I am not sure offhand if there is any of the last-mentioned thing: if there is the odd one or two, then it will be taken away as it will never be picked up.

Later I am currently planning to do a special Tvs M list, culled from the M list and the TBG fillers (maybe I'll find some further items to add to that), with the T prices and the meal deal. That'll be easier once the actual list is updated again - I know the italicised items sometimes aren't obvious.

I quite like it when I find new potential items for Tvs M:D. If I had birds, I would try to test Mr T with this to see if they compare vs M:

    Nature's Garden Ground & Table Mix (800g)

    £2.99 37.4p / 100g

Should have been £2.99 T vs £1.00 M based on the information I have from Monday. I quite enjoyed it when, last time, I found that item was available in T:rotfl:. This may be going OOS in M but I do still have a £1 SEL for it - this sort of item seems to be very variant between different M stores and may be going off and either unavailable or back up to full price very soon. I know M had some Bird Seed Sunflower Mix recently, which I found at 50p one Monday in one M and then, two days later, it was £2.00:eek:. That unfortunately was never stocked in T. Maybe this one now works for a few days:rotfl: but tbh I doubt they'll have it as there's different ranges in all my stores in this sort of area and depends if they have it in the three stores they check and if they pick it up. They ought to pick it up as it is £2.99 and it was £1 in M on Monday; however we know they don't visit every M store and can't get items that aren't in the Ms that they visit.
