Thanks for this :) . Is there any reason why the Birds Eye Steamfresh Classic Garden Mix shouldn't compare to £1.00 at M? The best I came up with was 2 of those, along with the pizza and ice cream you got. I have that at a £3.53 return on the £5.

Was just coming to post this

    Yep, that works :)

Cheese pizza doesn't compare so you lose a couple of pence on that.

That it only went onto £1 offer in M yesterday?

I wasn't sure when the offer started, but I thought this might have been the case :( Shouldn't it get picked up in the coming days, before the ice cream goes back up?

Are the Lucozade 1Ls definitely £1.50 in A today? They were £1 there I noticed yesterday (according to the SELs in my A anyway). Potential CC/HD item? Would have been great to have them vs M at 83p, however I think that will not work as they only went onto that price in M yesterday (prices are now not updated until Thursday) so will have to be vs S at £1:(. I noticed the Lucozades in A when I popped into there later yesterday happened to wonder what they were there with them being 83p in M and frowned when I saw the SEL and thought "useless £1 r'back". At least A's £1.50 is a bit better:rotfl:. Wouldn't make them any good though - certainly not compared to recent 6 pack glitch that's now long gone - unless you paid £1 for them originally but got A £1.50 on online price (CC/HD).

Otherwise, if my A SEL of £1 was incorrect but they are really £1.50, potential GC:rotfl:. Now, that would (effectively) be better than free:money:. "Effectively" as the £2 is tied up and has to be spent in A:( thus they keep it anyway (but then they would have given you that) so you never get £2 cash that you can freely spend. However, if that approach were adopted, since money would always be best with us, we'd never spend anything anyway and just have £2 in our name that was never given ever to anyone else and rather useless as it wasn't ever going anywhere or ever getting anything for us:rotfl: (except, possibly, more money, in interest etc. if we 'lend' it to a bank, that then itself never goes to anywhere else as we keep that as we never spend any money ever as giving to it anyone else, even if in exchange for something else, is always seen as a bad thing under this logic).

tesco meal deal looks good, I need some chicken to use as a base for some meals to use up rice lol but this looks cheaper to buy in the meal deal, would it be safe to put 4/5 of these deals altogether? Just double checking, as it looks ok to me lol

    Afternoon all

Just bobbing my head around the door to ask a quick question...;)

I went into my sbobs local this morning as I had a nectar offer of 200 points if I went instore. I bought a loaf of bread at 80p but she wouldn't swipe my card... She said it doesn't work unless you spend £1 is this new or just a random sa;) ? I'm sure I read about people gaining points on really low spends in the sbobs petrol stations before.
    Tia

    Hi,
The way i understood it was that they can swipe your card but you don't get points unless your spend is over £1.
I normally split my shopping and buy something really cheap first, ie under a pound. This will then give me till spits i can sometimes use on my second shop.
I have been told a couple of times by SA's that it won't work as under a pound but i just ask them to try.

5 would be fine, 6 you would max the £20 limit and be *£1.18 over.

That's with Pepperoni pizza, cheese slightly less.

So get 5 meal deals ( £25 ) plus fillers and only pay £7.35 plus fillers.
