That's no shame. My first single was D.I S.C.O by Ottowan :o:o and I've still got it! I love my music but nothing will beat that thrill of going into a record shop and paying 99 whole p for the latest single :o :rotfl:

My first single was Ian Dury Hit me with your rhythm stick.

Got that one too, you are obviously younger than me....

Loved to visit my local record shop on a Saturday, my mates big brother worked in there, we sat in the booths listening to American imports all afternoon.

Said record shop has been knocked down, replaced by a shopping centre, makes me feel really old to reminisce.

That's a pretty cool first single :D we are of the Same era, I just got unlucky as to when I got a record player :o :rotfl:. it was so small a 33 hung over the side :rotfl:
My first album was Toyah and she is probably to blame for my obsession with make up as well. Who would have been a teenager in the 80s  :rotfl:

Love Toyah too, my first ever concert was Susie Quatro, loved her too.

Love live music though, think it's great to go to concerts, shame that it is so expensive nowadays.

I had a tape recorder before the upgrade to a "stereo" system. I got the tape recorder for Christmas one year with a Boney M tape.

:rotfl::rotfl: OH and I were talking about this the other night. For his 13th birthday I bought him a £1 record token.....remember them?? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: he bought 'come on Eileen' with it :D and there sparked a dungaree obsession that is sadly going to be around forever in photos :o I got round my shortness by taking advantage of the fact rolling up your trouser legs was fashionable and he is in the photos looking like a prat wearing a white jacket :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: which he also felt the need to raise the collar on....Elvis style :D

my kids will look at those photos one day and just think.....nutters!

But did you manage to pause the charts before the DJ started talking? :rotfl::rotfl:
