Can any of you wonderful people help with this please. What I'm asking is personal choice I know but I have no idea.
My ds & wife have been in Australia for a year now. My ds has told me ddil is missing Heinz tomato soup really badly. He's asked me to post some of the sachets to try but I don't think they'll be anything like the tinned. I have no sense of taste so not much good me trying them.
I'd be really grateful if anyone has any thoughts please. Thank you x0 -

The sachets ( imo ) do taste Heinzy, not as nice as the tinned soup but not bad.0 -

Is that the squeezy ones or the dry powder please? Sorry forgot to ask about the different ones. Thank you x0 -

Heinz tomato soup is readily available in Oz but it is concentrated, so it has to be used with milk or water. Here it is ready mixed. Have had both here and there and can't taste any difference. Better value there really.0 -
Thanks Mrs Stinkface
About the Heinz soup has your son tried going into Woolworths over there and asking them if it is possible to order a tray in and the price as i was in Canada for a month a few years ago and i got them to order me Lucozade and and i had to pay for the 12 pack and it was about a £1-50 dearer ...but so worth it0 -
This may answer your question and save you some time and money

To help protect Australia’s unique environment from unwanted pests and diseases, the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources regulates products imported into Australia. The importation of some products is, by law, subject to certain biosecurity import conditions.
If you’re a student studying in Australia, it’s important to tell your family and friends overseas about Australia’s biosecurity laws and ask them not to send food, plant and animal products.[STRIKE]68 [STRIKE]Mouses[/STRIKE] [/STRIKE]

Thank you all so much for your help & advice. I regularly send out Robinsons squash'd & Colmans packet mixes. Postage is £25 for 2kg. Sounds a lot but not really as I'm not buying any bits for them here.
I emailed Australia's customs & dept of agriculture to check it was all ok.
We didn't know you could order from Woolworths but when he gets up I'll discuss all your suggestions.
I had been considering a pkt of the dry mix, a pkt of sachets & 5 tins. My dh has agreed but not happy about the cost of a tin of soup!!!
You're all superstars, thank you so much xx0 -

Might be a wild goose chase but my asda has 6 x cans Heinz tomato soup multi packs at 75p ( some 13p a tin!). Got 20x multipacks so that's my soup sorted for a year (bbe 01/2017).
They were in end of aisle storage boxes.. My store only has 2 multi packs left.
Had a white reduced to clear sticker on it.0 -
