My mystery parcel that ended up in the sorting office all over Xmas turned out to be a hamper. Full wicker version with leather tags! Full of wine/ biscuits/jams etc

Lovely gift but not sure I can eat any more biscuits!

Goodnight everyone, DD1 is back to Surrey tomorrow and we have loads to help her pack.

I may have contributed with chocolate and biscuits. :o

Oh yes had it been mentioned the long square tubes of Jaffa cakes are £1.50 in As, equivalent to 4 normal size packs I think.

Rubbish whoopsies in our tescos tonight. So many tesco pies and overpriced finest party stuff. No bread whatsoever. Does anyone know when last reductions are on new years eve as they shut at 7 pm I can never work on reduction times on bank holidays and I think most extra stores share the same time. Thanks.

CF shut 6 pm boxing day which caught me out as been 7pm last few years. Luckily I wasn't held up at Dartford bridge too long and made it in time. Few whoopsies but not on things I wanted. Did get beetroot infused smoked salmon for 10p a pack. Makes a lovely pink scrambled egg or pasta but is quite nice.

I have a confession I last spent money on boxing day and that was my few bits of food as had been away a few days. Been very tempted by sales but not spent a single penny since Saturday.

... it has been like an Elite reunion today :D.

If any other lurking members, past, present or future, would like to pop by and see in the New Year then you are more than welcome :A.

My New Year's Resolution has to be factor in petrol and time before chasing glitches or offers - I am better than I used to be but there is still room for improvement :D.

  • Happy New Year - I haven't been on here for a long long time - I used to love shopping for Tesco Bargains, perhaps I'll start again in 2016 :)
