As we all know things go up when they join a multi , I don't have a dog so no idea of the normal everyday price pre multi pre we will stick the price up so we can call it roll back In a week or so , so couldn't tell you if it's worth it.
To me it seem like a none deal each to there own on what they call a deal.
A change this week seems to be quite a few items have been reduced as single items - Right Guard springs to mind at £1.40 instead of £2.89, there are probably others - so the same products seem to work through different deals (3 for £5, 2 for £4, £1.40 each). Others rarely go into a deal and the price seems fairly constant, so must be something to do with particular brands and whatever deal the manufacturers are comng up with?
On this Right Guard example, I would say the "normal" price is around £1.60 and any saving better than this is actually the offer price (so as Right Guard is now £1.40 or similar in most places, that is probably how much it should be witout all the multi offer shenanigans - it isn't worth £2.89 as indeed most items that are regularly in multis are not worth anywhere near the high RRP). The worrying thing is some people will buy Right Guard every time they shop, no matter what the price on the ticket
