On the main MSE grabbit someone has put a link for Harrods sale bags - there are 4 at £15 each - very useful as birthday/Mother's Day gifts - you could fill with reduced Christmas chocs or sale nighties or Boots sale toiletries - a twist on the gift bag theme

Been to Ts to at last collect the 35p Christmas candles in glasses, expecting shot glass size, when in fact they are tumbler size :D

Bought all my Easter chocolates in Ts, Lindor big ball is £5, Quality St purple is £2.25. Everything else was 50p - small boxes of chocs, jelly fruits, jelly tots, Munchies etc.
The best buy was the M&M boxes 365gs at 75p

Bought load of Annuals too at 50p & a book about a stolen Christmas Pudding 50p

Are the candles from tesco direct - I expect these are all gone now

Jolly nice hot chilli pepper. Our local waities' had some reduced to about 30p. Straight into my curries and freezer it went.

When you chop them up, you need to seriously wash your hands afterwards. :naughty:

    This bubbs :rotfl:

It's a tricky one isnt it. I'm always mindful that people can and do take items back. I got some beautiful photo frames from Marksies earlier in the year......they were a glitchy price....thanks to hampydoodums :T. I gave them away as extras on top of normal presents as would hate them to be returned at 1p:o

If I buy a present that has come from a glitch I would still spend the amount I would normally spend but it would just look like an over generous present. People know me and know I like a bargain. I always buy a Christmas present for my friend who is/was my hairdresser. We never exchange very expensive presents usually around £10 but this year she got a bottle of lanson I am certain she will know it has been bought on a deal and not cost £20.
But if you enter into a £30 secret Santa then I'm afraid I believe you should spend the full £30. Is it worth naming and shaming her though? Maybe next year you could say that you don't want to take part because last year the top you received didn't fit you and when you tried to change it for the right size you couldn't because they no longer stocked it so they told you to pick something else to the same value which unfortunately was £1.99.
Is this SIL the one that fills her boots on the family Christmas meal? If so it speaks volumes.

mr shoes: original order to gain glitchy points, have just had a partial dispatch email, 2 out of 4 items out of stock, says points will be awarded when delivered, does show glitchy points though (doesn't mean anything will still have to wait and see what happens on delivery-pick up is 31st but i have picked up orders earlier than this before so may try tomorrow/wednesday)
says this on my .com order page:
    Original order total £32.67
    Order total charged £16.67
Advantage Card points for items 64000
    Bonus Advantage Card points 0
Total Advantage Card points for card no. ******************* 64000

    says this in email:
    Order number : xxxxxxxxx
    CFS Named Day
Collection from Thu 31 Dec 2015
    Advantage Card points awarded: 64000

the points award total is for original order amount not the reduced amount after the 2 cancelled/out of stock items.

    we will see.........

I just went into the kitchen to open the window for the cat and there was a starling murmuration going on, right above my garden :D

I've seen it a few times this week but not really stood and watched it until today. It really is something to see :)
