Belated Merry Christmas from me too :xmassmile

Hope Logie and Bubbs get better for the New Year and anyone I've missed as not read back.

Had a quick chat with the lovely AJ on fb this morning after she commented on a pic I put on there. Thought I would share here too:

We bought ds2 a cheapish Graphics tablet off ebay as we couldn't quite stretch to the £300 one, we spent £50 instead. I was so worried it would be rubbish and she would struggle to use it as she draws on the tablet and watches the drawing appear on her lappy screen. This is her first drawing using it and she did a fabby job...proud mummy. Considering she is 12 I think she has done really well :D

    Im ok but thanks:D
Glad you had a good xmas:T
    Well done dd:T:T:T

Possibly old news to the Elite, but I discovered I could use the Debenhams "exclusive cardholders" use once 15% off code that they emailed me, when purchasing with gift cards. Handy for anyone who got gift cards with Tesco mag coupon.

    DS panicking now.

He text asking if its flooded here he's heard its flooded in Manchester.

Told him about all puddles and glad I live top of the brew so wont flood.

Looked online Manchester Evening News and  rivers breaking their banks supermarket flooded in Rochdale .

Now DS hoping he can get back here tomorrow on train.

Fingers crossed train lines arn't waterlogged :D

Big sinkhole appeared on M62 near Rochdale
    Hi.
thankyou so much for evryones good wishes.im very touched.bless you all.
re the sinkhole....we went to wigan to see relatives yesterday and the sinkhole was just opening up as we were early morning.it was in middle lane and we were only saved as we saw someones bumper debris piece just infront of hole and it wasca 50mph limit but were going slow cos of rain.we managed to swerve to outside lane cos of debris but if that hadnt been there, we would have hit it.it didnt look deep cos of rain , like a puddle of standing water, but I thought it was a fatal accident waiting to happen.
then on way back the traffic was horrendous on that side and backed up for miles.the good thing was not much traffic and horrendous weather put loads of ppl off, a normal day would have been a major fatal, I think.
was so scared cos salwag was in back of car so if I had lost her, cant bear to think.
    so, still catching up.
so glad Scamps had a good day, I did think about you and glad your past kindness has been returned.
lovely to hear everyone had a good one.
hi to FC and DOTTY.compliments of the season.xxx
    going now I am.
    xx
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

Don't do what I did and be tempted to look in the Xmas choc/sweet aisle. :o

The best of the bargains I found today are the big Guylians bags are only £1.50 it's about 500g chocolate

They had their own chocolate honeycomb 31p small box

Ferrero rocher presents 18 piece £2.25 the good boxes with the big gold bows. The Ferrero big shells with 2 inside are £1.50

    Pink maltesers tube 50p

    Munchies tube 50p

    Haribo star mix tube 25p

    Kinder square tube 25p

    Cadbury buttons square tube 37p

Cadbury medium selection pack 37p. They are plastic wrapped and look small to me

Cadbury selection pack 75p box with double decker and crunchier inside plus other

Jelly baby jars £2 like the ones Snap got in Superdrug. Also Bertie Basset and Manards wine gums both £2

The largest really big boxes of black magic £2.50 cheaper than the smaller boxes

    Big quality street bags £1.50

    Boxes peanut M&Ms 75p

Bags of Terry's choc orange minis 50p exploding candy and toffee

Seems all the really big sized things were going really cheap most did not have SELs in my store I guess to get muggles to buy the smaller ones. ;)

The kinder square thing is on Shopit at the mo... either 20p or 80p back, I can't remember :o
