What happens if you collect the orders and then the points get deducted?

I think I will spend mine as soon as they appear.

You could keep the items for a couple of days and then return. Its hard to know how its going to play out. I usually find on a delivery to store that my points appear when the store marks the item as received in store, but some people have already got the points before the collection dates. I have my basket ready to check out should the points appear.

I'm not sure what you mean. How would they then charge you once you had collected the order?

I was worrying that you put a large order in just to get the points and then the points get deducted, so you are left having paid for the goods you may not otherwise have bought, without the points bounty.

That is why I was suggesting spending the points quickly before they disappear. If anyone investigated this, the first accounts they would look at would be the ones with large balances, so hopefully you would sneak under the radar if the points were spent.

If they discovered this after you had spent the points, the worst they would be likely to do would be to zero your balance.

I've no idea what that is.

The ipint app is an instant win thing. You can win NowTV day passes, or cashback on cider, or packs of 12,15,20 cans of carling

It's done with COS so you upload your receipts to ipint in a similar way to COS and request payouts by paypal/BACS

I've won 3x12 free packs of lager, 2x4 free packs of cider, easily 10x£5 off 12/15/20 packs and a gazillion day passes (i've also won £1/£2 off but I'm not bothering with them)

The 12 and 20 packs are £8 and £10 in A respectively so I've been getting 12 cans for £3 or 20 cans for £5 on top of all the free cans

You can play once daily on your own or you and a friend can get an extra go if you play together

Thank you for highlighting this app - now added to Mrs Anon's phone so 2x Cheers with Carling and once with her per day .

Not as lucrative as your haul but a few sports passes, £5 off a pack and a free four pack so far this week.

I see what you mean now. That's why I only ordered things I would use ie the Orla Kiely items that I will give as presents anyway so if they only awarded the 500 points for each order I was happy with that.
I have now placed four orders spending the points as well but my problem now is I have fourteen orders to collect on Thursday. I wish I had had them delivered to our next town were I don't know the staff.
  • I have just had the most horrendous phone conversation. Trying to activate a new sim with talk mobile (still on £1 a month plan) and could not get my postcode across to her! She really should not have been in the call centre if she could not understand me. Went on Web chat and managed fine though.

A bit late to be worrying about that now :). Relax and see what happens. If all else fails you can always return the items and stagger that over the returns period.

I've had lots of lovely pressies today :D As nice as that was, my houseguest emailed my hairdresser and asked for the cost of a voucher to make my hair look like Emma Willis  :o I saw her on TV recently and commented on how I liked her hairstyle.
She's just done my hair last week after I lost a fair bit recently and sent an email back to him telling him she'll make me look like Emma Willis if he donates £25 to Myeloma UK :o:o I'm not sure if that includes the Botox or not? But if she can make me look like Emma for £25 then fair play to her :rotfl::rotfl:

That is so thoughtful of your houseguest, what a lovely young man. :)

Hoping yesterday went well & you are content ♥

I got a voucher for a posh hairdressers so I can have some colours & a cut :T

Spoke to Dad yesterday - he rang me (with help) from hospital, it was his 80th Birthday :) brought tears to my eyes :o

Sisters return today from there & we are having an impromptu Family Christmas dinner tomorrow, so I'm going to be peeling veg for them to pick up this evening - off to Ts in a minute to try & buy some crackers. I do have a loft of crackers but it is easier to buy them than get Fourp up the ladder :rotfl:

So nice you got to speak to your Dad, I'm not surprised it brought a tear. I bet it did to him as well. :A

Was in town for 9am. Really quiet. Only did a few stores as still get tired very quickly when out. Only thing I bought was a calendar and a McDonalds hash brown! :rotfl:

Anon have you logged in to your account then gone in to order history page, my extra points were showing there but not at logging page.

Thank you - yes I have tried from home page and my account area (mobile and desktop view) - I may fire up my laptop later though I am not expecting anything different. Will wait to see what happens after my order is collected.
