Fortunately the person doing the scan was able to reassure me that it wasn't cancer, it was a thyroglossal cyst, and it was removed later that year. The internet can be a great source of information, and I'm one of these people that likes to be informed and know as much as I can about something. I have found though, particularly this year with everything I've been through, that sometimes being overly informed isn't a good thing and just leads to panic.
My friend who has cancer is very much like me, googles everything. However, she deliberately hasn't looked up anything to do with her cancer as it just scares her, and she would rather not know. Not sure I could be that controlled, think I would be constantly googling, but you just don't know until you're in that situation.
I know, I need to leave google alone for medical matters but it nags at me till I do itYour friend has got the right idea, the searches throw up so much information and the really bad stuff seems to stick in your mind. I have to push it to the back of my mind and wait and see now x
"a doll, a drum and a kick up the bum"not heard that before:T
Have a lovely meal out, thats quite a good price i think for 4 for xmas day, u thought it was more like £40 although never been out xmas day
Must be a northern sayingThe meal is costing £35.00 per adult and £17.50 per child so £105 for bubbly on arrival and 3 courses. Hoping dh will get 10% discount as he works at Manchester Airport and we are eating at the Airport Hotel where he usually gets a discount. The manager says he doesn't see why it won't work :T We can only try

I'm going to be controversial Bubbs, I don't cook the pasta first. I cheat and use the bacon & tomato Homepride sauce, where you don't have to pre-cook the pasta. I usually leave it in the oven for 25 minutes, whilst that's happening I fry and drain whatever's in the fridge (often onions, mushrooms, peppers and lardons), cover with grated cheese and a further 20 minutes it's done.'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0
