A friend got one for her lad birthday last week. From amazon he lives it it says its a segway one so hoping it's OK she is waiting for confirmation from amazon but board has been put inside a wheelie bin in middle of garden just in case, as apparently its a battery problem si she said better to be safe than sorry.

Though wondering if you get refund but dont have to return will some people still keep them .

Sure, it's just Amazon absolving themselves of future blame. If you received a refund (which Amazon will no doubt demand of any dodgy suppliers), you can't sue Amazon if it goes up in flames & causes a house fire.

    Morning Everyone :)

Struggling to take part in Amex shop small properly.

Two of my local corner shops tell me they don't/have never taken Amex and another has changed from an independent to a Costcutter. Amex are brilliant though - £5 credit for every incorrect one :j

Will try some more today. Think quite a few from last year are no longer on the list.

interesting. There are 2 chip shops on my list and a small sandwich shop - I cant via see a chip shop accepting payments via credit card never mind via Amex.
I am wondering if I have the nerve to ring them up later just to see if they do take Amex payments.

I have not even got started on this and only 3 days left

My chippy happily accepts Amex and is the only place where I've seen Shop Small POS. We've had 2 fish & chips meals so far and another one lined up for today.

If you are starting today, maximise monetary value by buying books of stamps at small shops - 1 book of 12 x 2nd class + 1 book of 6 x 1st class = £10.26

I've got the post office on my list so I am getting one of the £10 gift cards I can convert into Amazon credit.
also Superdrug so I am hoping that they also do gift cards but otherwise it will be postage stamps.

There is a One Stop on my list but its completely in the wrong direction with nothing else around it so its not worth doing if you factor in fuel costs.

Then in town itself my hairdressers is on the list so I am hoping that they do gift cards as all of their hair care products are very over priced.

There is also a bookshop - I wonder if they sell stamps, might give them a ring.

If you are unfortunate enough to have a smoker in the family  buying ciggies in a corner shop is a simple and quick way to spend £10, plus a bottle of milk perhaps. Makes the expensive habit a bit less annoying!
