I have no faith in last minute bargains or in the B & Q sales - as soon as I can get OH to stop coughing I will be going on a tree hunt

Barilla - I did my £1 photo entries from premier Inn the night before we set off so there is a row of Barilla MOCS waiting to be printed off - is it mr T I need to take them to now?
If so they will go nicely with the party food MOCs and the conditional spends I got this morning.

also on the printables thread a kind person put the Bombardier link so I've got 2 MOCs printed off but the gmail address ones have not arrived yet, might try yopmail

Don't hang about to get your Barilla coupons printed mhoc ......there was only a small time extension to allow people to get them printed....unsure when it ran out:o

Henlans is probably out making a few £000s on Amex as I am pretty certain he knows about Shop Small. I have only been half-hearted because of time commitments, and I have made £790 over maybe 5 days, no time today & I think that's it for me as we're too busy to do much more. With 4-5 cards he could easily clear £10K in 2 weeks.
Sorry to quote this...and I do understand the amex deal..Ihave used it...but how can you say you have made £790 in the last 5 days....its surely cost you at least that too.

at best you are getting something for half price and thats assuming that each transaction works out at exactly £10

from what I can see you seem to suggest you have bought meat from butchers etc which whilst I concede is very nice its also high end both in quality and cost...surely the deals at some of the supermarkets at the moment are matching your "deal" price ...again even buying wine/spirits/beer in convenience stores must work out at a higher base price than when the suprmarkets have a deal as again plenty of them do at this time of year.

it is as I see it a good deal to encourage shopping locally but I am failing to see how you can say you are making out of it substantially unless of course you are either retuning the goods for a full refund or selling on.....
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

    2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend

fair point let's not count the meat (5%) as I have simply upgraded the quality of what I would otherwise buy in the supermarket

    but 80% stamps - I'm saving £5 on £10.26, I use a lot of postage, that's a real (future) saving

    15% beer - I bought my Stella @ 30p a can, I drink beer, that's a real (future) saving

unfortunately my wife thinks like you, she would just see it as buying more beer, which is why I have had to stash it in the attic :)
