Anyone near Watford might want to check the large display of Bombay Sapphire as you go into T. Yesterday they had the blue and white bottles all priced at £15, but the website says the blue bottles are £20. A possible DTD here? Not sure if I am glad or sorry I didn't pick one up yesterday as I do need one. But we were in a rush, so spending time at CS wasn't really possible.

Watford normally within hitting distance, but I'm miles away with relatives at the moment. :(

    Good find, if it works.

please can I ask what sort of things people have got for the orchard Tesco party food MOCs?

Mine have arrived as well as some conditional spends for £20 shops :T - in my name - the last lot were for OH but the dates were for when we were away so I passed them along - karma at work there.

I am thinking I need party things for Christmas evening, varied and unusual as my lot have very cosmopolitan tastes, things you just reheat for a short time in the oven
Eldest child is making lemon cheesecake :T

I'm waiting until they reduce party food.

Thankyou everyone for the kind wishes.

OH is home and asleep in bed now, he cant speak for 48 hours, all I got on the way home was nodding and grunting to my questions.

Havnt found anything out from him yet as he cant say anything, and is in a lot of pain.

He is dosed up and asleep, hopefully wakes up less painful.

We have to go back just after new year for follow up and results, this is going to be the longest few weeks ever.

Thank you. I had not spotted it. (Duck at A if anyone is wondering.) I use Delia's port with marmalade recipe which is amazing. Bubbs, it is really easy and you don't have to be quite as fussy as she is with the end instructions.

Bubbs, I too appreciate the HDUK posts even if I just click thanks and don't often comment.

I'd like to thank the person who said the potato vouchers were at Watford. I was on my travels at the weekend and got, ahem, a few -- very pleased. Got trouted by a young  SA who first of all wouldn't let me try two dairy coupons in one shop (wasn't sure they would work anyway) and then said the potato coupons were one per transaction. I had not checked this but asked sweetly if she would like me to put all 15 through in separate transactions? (At this point was super-cool as clearly I did not want this to happen!) She called her supervisor who looked stunned and agreed she should just put them through. She also tried refusing multiple Barilla vouchers but I pointed out that they were definitely one per item, not per transaction. I was in a rush so got the BM a bit wrong as I forgot the £20 max. She also wouldn't let me buy a T gift card before she did the coupons which meant that the last three did not work as there was just 85p to pay. I should have just paid it and grabbed the coupons back but I was very flustered at this point and gave her back 3 pacs of potatoes, at which point the till had a large minus amount, which rather upset her and the supervisor who she had called back!! (It was actually very funny!) He just told her to give me the shopping, so we went away with loads of free shopping and I used the last three coupons on a shop for myself when I got home. Had a family member with me (who was delighted to receive the potatoes) and he now thinks he will be able to get into BM!

Glad you had a mostly positive experience, it is a VERY trouty store. Was the supervisor called Benjamin? He's lovely.

I hope he has a speedy recovery and the pain disappears very quickly. Christmas might be a bit of a distraction in terms of waiting for results, may make the time pass a little quicker. Thinking of you.

Hoping your DH is feeling better soon, it may take a day or two though as when my DH went for a biopsy on a lump in his neck/throat he was sore for a couple od days.
Try to enjoy Christmas and New Year x

yes we have 3 Aldi close by - thanks for this - worth a try anyway. I assume these are not the bare rooted ones but even so this would do nicely

I'd get there as soon as mhoc, don't let yourself get caught out  the sooner you get one the sooner you can get it decorated . Job done :)

I'm like you though, wait and wait looking for a cheaper one of some item or other then end up missing out if left too long

I put oyr tree up and it took me half hour to decorate it, will no doubt do some adjustments at some point :rotfl:

Bit of luck in the post, 2 x T voucher books, 1st one in the books £12 off £80. Been waiting for that. So some bits & bobs + 4 x £25 giftcards for £88 + cake points = 700 T points + 180 Avios.

In total, the discount off £100 = £30.60.

I got lucky on the second go as the machine didn't activate 1 of the 4 giftcards (even though it charged me £100) - so we worked out which one was no good, I kept 3 and got back £25 in cash. Total here is £75 of giftcards minus £30.60 = £44.40.
