Tesco.com groceries problem.

Options
My wife users a Tesco Hudl to order groceries.

We have always never been able to place a second order for future delivery until the next delivery due has taken place. Assumed this was the standard, if somewhat silly, way the site was set up.

This year we placed a Christmas order when the delivery saver preview slots became available.

Now we are unable to place a further order to be delivered earlier in the days leading up to the Christmas slot. All that happens when we try to select a slot, is the we are taken to the amend facility of our Christmas order!!

Phoning Tesco got me nowhere, as they seem to think we are doing something wrong. The advice being come out of the app, and go into the site via our internet browser and it will allow another order to be placed, not so as same thing happens.

Anyone else have same problem or has had it and found a way around?

Please, no Tesco hate answers.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know the answer to your problem, but as it's causing you problems why don't you just open a new account with Tesco?

I have quite a few accounts with them, you just need a distinct email address (you'll also be able to use a new customer discount voucher!)

Do you know what 'browser' you are using? For example if the Hudl is 'safari' then make sure the PC or laptop is something different - internet explorer or google chrome.

If you are continuing to have problems when you ring Tesco GHS there is an option when you first get through for 'problems on the website' that's the option you need to go for.
    HTHs good luck.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

Hi, yes the Hudl is Safari and I've also tried Google Chrome on it. Laptop is IE and also tried Firefox. Same results each time.

It's not a major problem for us as we also have Sainsbury and Asda accounts which get used very rarely. Just really annoying, and I had hoped someone else might have experienced the same and found the solution.

Never mind, got better things to worry about anyway.
