Marriage Allowance Application Successful but...

My wife applied for Marraige allowance very early on in the year and it was granted.
Her tax code changed in June so that she could earn less but my tax code has never changed so that I can earn more,therefore we havnt recieved any marriage allowance tax rebate as yet.
I have braved the HMRC phone lines twice to speek to someone ( oh how very painful this is,on hold for at least 35 minutes each time) only to be told that oh yes you are definately entitled to it as its all gone through,we will re send out your new tax code to yourself and your employer,needless to say l have never recieved anything and neither has my employer which is rather worrying considering they have sent it out 3 times to me now -apparently!!! Any ideas as to how we can actually get what we are entitled to other than sitting on the phone for half of my life and getting nowhere???

My wife registered for thi last year online and then was sent an email to claim on line which she did months ago .heard nothing at all so she rang up and was told to write in in July still heard nothing at all. Has anybody actually received this tax relief yet.?

Have you checked that HMRC have your current address and current employer on their records?

It is not unknown for records to be out of date.
