The body shop purchase

Hi,

I was just procrastinating about buying some stuff for my friends birthday. This time last year they offered a 50% discount code, but it doesn't seem so far they'll repeat the offer and I've been checking their site daily.

I've just checked recently and noticed they have put up a 40% off code. Does anyone think they'll offer better than this? even if they add a free gift in with the code. Or should I just buy what I'm looking for now to avoid disappointment?

I know nothing is guaranteed, its just when you have to budget more strictly ever penny helps and I always kick myself when I miss out on a better deal.

Thank you :)

That's life. You have to take risks.

Last year I bought a tv, knowing that the model I liked would be discontinued. A week later, the size above, which had been £150 dearer was the same price.

Last week, I put two items, from Amazon's Warehouse, in my basket and was taken aback to see 10% off the total. I checked the site , in case I was signing up for something by accepting, found it was a special offer, then returned to the basket to find both items sold out and only full price ones available.

Unfortunately I'm the type of person who sees something, looks everywhere else, reads all the reviews, just to come back to what I had seen in the first place and could've saved myself hours/days/a better price lol

In this case I've even checked the xmas predictor on here too.

Thanks for your response, sorry for the ramble back :)

I always can't stop myself to buy some discount gadgets ,because I like these stuff and don't want to avoid disappointment.Though it will have lower price in the future ,I'm not sad because I have already had it and used it .

    That's a good outlook to have :)
  • Hi all,

I actually found my own answer to my question lol In the t & c's on the body shop's website, the 40% discount code is due to run until the 21st Dec and therefore they are unlikely to have a better discount before xmas.

However, I found a better discount for me on a discount code website offering £10 off a £20 spend. I'll save more with this discount. I hope that helps someone else too :)

I hope your friend likes/uses Body Shop - since they sold out to L'Oreal who experiment on animals I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole.
