Bauer Radio Wins

Hi

Has anyone won with one of the Bauer radio stations, Key, Magic etc. There have been a lot recently where you just put in name and mobile number multiple times. I normally wouldn't worry as only got called by the station on the 27th Nov to say had won £2000, but when i got called they took details and was told that the money would be processed that day and if not in bank by Friday 4th to call. It wasn't in and i called and was told by another person that it had missed the processing day and they only send once a week. I was told it would be in today but it isn't. I called again and was told it would be sent today and in on Friday. I'm just getting concerned at the continual various dates for payment and wondered if anyone else has won and received their winnings and how long it took. It all seems a bit odd to keep shifting payment date

My partner won a £1,000 on Absolute Radio a couple of weeks ago. It was 5.15pm on a Friday when they called (it was a no repeat song guarantee comp). They said it would be a cheque in the post and it would arrive the following week. It arrived the following Thursday.

If they only process once a week and it missed the slot for last Friday presumably the next available run would make it this Friday?

(One way or another someone there is mistaken or has told a little porky)

Thanks guys that helps:) This is a bank transfer not a cheque and normally i wouldn't even think of a prize until 28 days passed. Problem is i was called on Friday 27th. Told would be in bank the following Friday 4th. And if wasnt to call. It wasn't so i called. Another person then said it had missed the weekly payment they do only once a week but that it would be sent today (Wed) and would be in bank this Friday. That also confused me because if they send it on Wednesdays each week why would it have missed last wednesday? I'm really happy and grateful for the prize but hope it does come when they say and i don't have to keep chasing it up. Sucks the fun out of it lol A bit concerned but fingers crossed for Friday Thanks everyone xx

I won £2k with Rock FM the other week - was called at about 6pm on the Tuesday and the guy said someone would ring me back the next day to discuss whether they would send cheque or do bank transfer. Nobody had rung me by about 3pm the next day so I chased them up, they told me someone would bring the prize to me personally the next day - I was still expecting a cheque so was gobsmacked when a lad from the studio turned up with £2k cash in an envelope!!!!
