From Monday 7 December 2015 when you spend £40 on Beauty products dispatched and sold by Amazon, you can get a Luxury Beauty Box for FREE (the “Offer”). Each customer can claim only one Offer per order. This Offer ends at 23:59 GMT on Sunday 17 January 2016, or when 5,000 Offers have been claimed (whichever occurs sooner).

We will endeavour to deliver the Luxury Beauty Box in the same package as your Beauty products but please be aware that on occasion, it may be delivered separately.

How to Claim:

Add £40 of Beauty products dispatched and sold by Amazon (the “Qualifying Item”) and the Luxury Beauty Box (“Promotional Item”) to your Shopping Basket by clicking the “Add to Basket” button.
When you’re done shopping, click the “Proceed to Checkout” button. The Offer will be automatically applied to your total customer order value at checkout, so you will receive a Promotional Item free of charge

Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 8 Dec: If you were planning on spending £40 on beauty products at Amazon then this is a nice little ‘free’ bonus. Just remember that the £40 of beauty products can only be those that are sold and dispatched by Amazon, which can be filtered during a search. The beauty box is £60 on Amazon, but we’ve taken a look at the contents and if you bought each item separately (bearing in mind some of these items are samples) you’d spend about £50.

Big thanks to sarah1972 for the original spot!

Go straight onto Amazon chat and they will sort it for you. are you sure all of your items are sold by Amazon and not 3rd party sellers?

I emailed Amazon who agreed that the items were eligible and advised me to purchase the order and they will refund the beauty box. So there must be an error with the offer.

Amazon is currently having lots of problems with their site. When I phoned about some problems I was having with a purchase I was eventually told by a supervisor that they are trialling different site formats with various customers..and that is where my problems lay. My Amazon has changed it's look and when I go from basket to checkout it automatically goes to the buy now page without giving any discounts or free postage, indeed any options for postage at all just £4.75 charge etc etc etc but chat or preferrably a call will sort it out and the Amazon rep will override it and put sale through their side. I have had problems on the last 3 out of 4 purchases. Not all reps are aware of the problems or best way to resolve it..some will say you need to make the purchase then phone after fir the refund..do not do this, ask to speak to the supervisor! My problems were not relating to this particular offer detailed above, but may be reason the other poster said it did not work. Don't give up but be prepared for bit of perseverence if necessary.
  • It worked for me. I bought two discounted fragrances which I had wanted to buy anyway, and a pack of travel bottles, all sold by amazon, two of which were eligible for No Rush £1 credit (my shopping still came to just over £40) then went to the Beauty Box entry and Added to Basket, then did a "trial" Continue (you do not actually buy until you press Buy Now)and saw the £60 coming off. It may be that those who claim it is not working actually did not choose Sold by Amazon items?

Nope - followed procedure exactly as they advised and the promotion was not applied after continuing to the buy now page. All items selected were eligible. As other poster said - looks like they are having site problems.
  • Email from Amazon confirming the error is on their side-

'I'm sorry for the issues you have experienced when trying to avail of this promotion FREE when you spend £40 in Beauty.

Upon investigating your order, I found that it did qualify for the promotional discounts you mentioned.

To apologise for the inconvenience caused, I kindly request you to place a order and contact us with the order number and we will be happy to refund in your new order.'
  • It just worked for me. It didn't take it off until right at the end of the payment process. Thanks OP
