dried peas, contains 'steeping tablet' anyone know what this is?

I would guess that the steeping tab is intended to soften the skin and get the seed to germinate more easily.
If you manage to sprout without the tab, then yes - just stick it in the WM

just a quick update on the dried peas front, they sprouted and I'm going to have them with rice/couscous/quinoa type salad with chopped cucumbers and mint. I'm pleased as I only used 1/2 a bag and they are 21p per bag...not bad!Save £12k in 2012 no.49 £10,250/£12,000
