Leasing a UK company car from the Netherlands

Hi there. Does anyone know if a car can be leased in the UK from a Dutch bank account please? It's for a solo UK based employee. Thanks

  • If the business has an FC number, a UK bank account and the accounts available in English you'll be fine. If not you'll struggle

  • How was my answer not sensible? I assume other responses are "lease it personally" when the question was how does a Dutch company lease a car in the UK. Which I answered

Because unless it can be answered easily with English forum members, some automatically take the view you might be trolling as this is a UK forum. I agree the parenthesis was totally unnecessary, but some people want attention (badly).
  • Well I'm not trolling. For anyone interested an FC number is "foreign controlled" and the company although foreign appears on companies house here. Many of the big leasing companies here are pan-European, however to satisfy their UK banking licences generally payments must be taken from a UK bank account and for underwriting purposes accounts for the business in English will probably be requested.
