Amex Shop small deals starts today

Options
Actually it started yesterday, but MSE was down for repairs when I tried to post it.

If you have an AMEX card and did not know about the deal its worth a look. Check out which shops are participating and see if its worth cashing in.

Basically spend min £10 in a participating shop and get £5 back from Amex. Only works once in each venue between now and 25 Dec

I just spent £11 on 2 bottles of wine at Spar in my town and got £5 back from Amex.

I am planning to do the same in the other Spar, also a butchers and electrical shop... It is a bit limited, but there might be more in a bigger city

£5 credit showing in your account already?
No credits for myself as yet from Saturday's purchases, but they usually take a few days, Well it did last year and the year before.

Problems with merchants on the map that don't even take Amex, yet they are listed! How's that?
No payments from financial products from cash back sites? Put in a complaint direct and if they don't resolve your issue, head straight to the financial ombudsman - it costs the company £550 in referral fees, win or lose.

Not sure, but I got an e-mail from Amex saying my small shop purchase had been recorded.

Some of Saturday's purchases have been credited today.
Issues with one merchant, but no email received. I'll chase up later and get it manually added.

Not shop small, but Amex Superdrug and Post Office promotions shouldn't be missed. Gift-cards can be purchased from both merchants and the £5 credits still work. Both £5 credit from a £10 or more spend, if still available as they were limited.
