Tesco Extra Points For Home Insurance

I have just been shopping and have a till spit that gives you 500 extra points when you purchase Tesco Home Insurance. All its says on there is to call 0845 301 0945 and quote your clubcard number. Offer is only valid to new customers and over the phone only.

has anyone tried this yet ? also did you still get the points if you didnt take the offer up , they did the motor quote a little while ago and got 500 points then :money: :T

In this case I don't think the offer will work unless you buy the Home Insurance. I have the same till spit (valid till 23.9.07 BTW).

The t&cs on this till spit say 'offer applies only to new customers who purchase over the phone only'. Also, if anyone does this, when you quote your clubcard number make sure it is in the same name as the person taking out the policy, as this is one of the t&cs as well.

I don't think it would be worth setting up just for the points as you would no doubt have to pay the first premium at least, and 500 points is only worth a maximum of £20 in clubcard Deals.

This has been posted here looks like that they are doing it again or keeping it going

i did it and will be getting my points in November you dont even have to get a full quote to get the points

I've received my November statement and there was no 500 points credited to my account for asking for a motor insurance quote way back in May. Has anybody had similar experienced?
