'Late' post

Just to ask, how are you seeing your up to date 'late delivery' marks? I can view mine in the new expanded dashboard but only up to the 30th November, tried playing around with reports etc but can't see anything more.
The idea that I might have a slew of late marks that I am not aware of is worrying me, especially as I found out one first class parcel has taken a week to arrive...0 -

Yes you are right, it does only show up to the 30th November. In that case I'm probably Already doomed.

I'm switching to two days dispatch and will adjust again to three later this weekweek, the TRS discount is not worth the risk at the moment. I am sick of the stress of selling on eBay. I've got a zero defect rating and TRS status but I can feel it slipping away in days as RM creeks under the pressure.
Going to spend Christmas reconsidering what I am doing with my life!0 -
I have just had an order from Australia, last guaranteed posting date was 10th December, Oz customs have had a strike and a big backlog to clear, eBay estimate 21st December to 31st January. The dreaded question seems to pick the earliest possible date so that is an extra strikr.
EBays dates are a joke!0 -
My seller dashboard has now updated to show figures from 11st October to 31st December (?) and I've got 6 lates which takes me a smidgeon over 2%. That is after I closed early for Christmas as well, goodness knows how bad this would be if I had stayed open.
For many of my items I already post faster than I say, I state 1 day dispatch but if I am at home will often do a late run to the mailc entre and take that days purchases with me as well. I have never posted late so am looking at losing TRS purely because of Royal Mail.
If it wasn't so laughable I would cry.
Another mince pie is called for I think
EDIT: I've just looked at the reports- one of the lates was for a purchase where buyer mentioned it was for a school event and I actually posted 1st class instead of 2nd and at my own cost. That will teach me to be nice in future.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Can I just ask- wasn't the TRS requirement 2% or less 'lates' or was I imagining that? It now shows 4% which I am below and on a 3 monthly evaluation , where Christmas isn't involved, I might just manage it.
my dashboard shows

Soolin....I think it might have shown 2% before. Mine is showing as 4%......and yay no late defects.....but mind you only half the buyers for dec have left feedback.
I had one buyer message me last week asking for tracking number because her item hadn't arrived after 9 days. I told her she didn't opt for the tracking option even though it was available and I uploaded receipt with her address on it. Told her second class items were delayed and to wait a couple of more days and to message me. It's been 5 days now and no reply so hopefully she received the item by now.
For the last 2 weeks I upgraded to first class knowing I was saving on FVF with the 75% FVF off promotion0 -
And another case- this time a US buyer, no previous contact and straight to case. Sent on the 8th December and wants a tracking number , even though they choose standard post. I have no issue with using standard post, I wouldn't offer it if I did, but are people being funny or just plain stupid when they then ask for tracking?

8 days before a refund needs to be issued. I always try and contact the buyer first and see if they will wait.
Absolutely nothing to be gained by hitting refund as soon as a case is opened.0 -

IMO any buyer who asks "where is the tracking number" when they know they have paid for the cheapest non trackable option is an ebay "sponsored by Tony" thief/scammer. Stupid they are not.
How often does anybody get an "INR" returned through the postal system. I've never had one EVER..
This last 6 weeks though I've had two returners that I had to tell the buyers about...0
